Buying from India or overseas

For residents of India, direct overseas property purchases and investments through a company follow different FEMA rules. Before transferring funds, confirm the proposed purchase with your authorised dealer bank and an adviser familiar with overseas investment. Shared ownership is considered individually; it is not an automatic exemption.

Practical purchase information
